New Varsity Football Coach at LCA
LCA is pleased to announce the naming of Patrick Stewart as head varsity football coach for the 2019–2020 school year.
Coach Stewart played college football at Middle Tennessee State University, earned a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from the University of Georgia, and most recently served as a defensive assistant for the University of Georgia football team under the leadership of Kirby Smart. He is a Jesus-follower and has a passion for football, for developing leaders, and for putting the LCA Lions football program on the map. Coach Stewart resides in Monroe and has been an integral part of the Walton County community for many years.
He will be on staff full-time supporting the Business Department as well as being the strength and conditioning coach beginning in August 2019. However, you will begin to see him on campus this spring as he begins to develop relationships with the students and plans for spring practices.
Alumnus as Assistant Coach
We are also thrilled to announce that Nic Snowden, LCA Class of 2014, will be returning to LCA this fall as a the varsity football assistant coach.
After graduating from LCA, Nic continued his football career playing for Kennesaw State University as one of the original eighteen signees of their football program. Nic will graduate from KSU in May with a degree in Health and Physical Education and return to the Prideland in August as a full-time team member supporting the Lower School physical education program and Upper School weight training classes.
