MEET THE BOARD

 

David Snell: Interim Chairman
David serves as Corporate Vice President and Board Secretary for ER Snell Corporation, one of the largest bridge and road contractors in the state of Georgia. The business employs more than 700 employees with 5 generations of family leadership over the past 90+ years. David has been very involved in the community and church for many years. His involvement with the Snellville United Methodist Church includes serving as Sunday school teacher, Lay Leader, Treasurer, and Vice-Chair of the Administrative Board as well as serving as a member of the Board of Trustees. David currently serves on the Gwinnett

Medical Center Foundation Board of Directors, as well as the Georgia Gwinnett College Board of Directors.

David and Krista’s son, Ean, graduated from LCA in 2017.

Amber Cahill
Amber has been a part of the LCA community for four years. She and her husband Eric have two daughters at LCA; Presli is in 4th grade and Madeline is in 2nd grade. Amber and Eric love seeing them grow spiritually and academically in our community. Amber was born in Georgia and attended Loganville High School and continues to have strong ties to the community. She went on to excel as a scholar-athlete at Piedmont University. She is currently working in the healthcare field as an Oncology Account Executive. The Cahills are members of Prince Avenue Baptist Church and in Amber’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family traveling and taking in her daughter’s sporting events. Amber is currently serving as the Lower School Rep for the PTF and is excited to continue helping the school grow and thrive.

Katrina Husband
Katrina holds her RN degree from Southwest Community College and is Licensed by the State of Board of Georgia in Rehabilitation of Hearing. While she has worked in several hospitals, she is currently working for Miracle Ear for the last 21 years and helping to manage the family's trucking business. Katrina and her husband, Walter, joined the LCA family in 2015 when they enrolled their daughter in Lower School. Katrina serves on the Leadership Board at her father's church in Mississippi as well as the Hospitality committee at New Mercies Baptist Church.

Jeff Lanier
Jeff has had two grandchildren graduate from LCA and was the middle school baseball head coach in 2019 under the auspices of the PlayLCA program and has been an assistant varsity baseball coach since 2021.

Jeff received his bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia in 1975 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1978.  While at the University of Georgia, Jeff served as chief justice of the Student Judiciary and was named a senior superlative based upon his many campus activities and leadership.  He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, all federal district courts in Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Following law school graduation, Jeff clerked for Judge William Malcolm Towson on the Dublin Judicial Circuit and, in 1979, he was appointed an assistant district attorney for the Dublin Judicial Circuit where he served for four years, rising to the position of chief assistant district attorney.  In 1983, he began work with the State Law Department as an assistant attorney general and later became the deputy division director for the Governmental Operations Division.

In 1989, he was appointed director of the Elections Division of the Office of the Secretary of State.  While serving as director, Mr. Lanier was instrumental in founding the National Association of State Election Directors and served as chairman of its national independent testing authority committee for electronic voting equipment.

In 1997, Jeff entered the private practice of law with the firm of Boyce, Ekonomou, and Atkinson where he was involved in general civil litigation, served as a special assistant attorney general, and consulted with surgical anesthesia and pain management practices around the Southeast regarding Medicare corporate compliance programs.

In 2000, Jeff returned to state employment with the Office of Legislative Counsel where he drafted legislation for the General Assembly and advised the members of the General Assembly on the law as well as represented the General Assembly in litigation.  He retired from the Office of Legislative Counsel in 2020 but is still associated with the Office of Legislative Counsel as a consultant.

Jeff and his wife Julie are members of Church on Main in Snellville where he has served as a backup teacher and as a part of the greeter ministry.

Mary Beth Letke
Mary Beth holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Georgia and an M.B.A. from Brenau University. She spent a decade working for nonprofit organizations as a Director of Leadership Giving and Director of Women’s Giving, all with a focus on major gifts. Currently, she is serving as a Management Consultant for The Jholdas Group. Mary Beth and her husband Steve joined the LCA family in 2015 when they enrolled their two younger children in the Lower and Upper Schools. Their son is an LCA graduate who is now at UGA and their twin sons recently graduated from KSU. Mary Beth serves as a Founding Member and President of the LCA Arts Alliance and served four years as the LCA PTF President.

She has been an active church member her whole life and has led Vacation Bible School and Great Day of Service, as well as Sunday School teacher, Bible Study Leader, and church wide Vision Team Co-Chair. The Letkes attend Journey Church.

Krissy Lyell
Krissy lives in Monroe with her husband Nate and their three sons Griffin, 7th grade, Davis, 3rd grade and Graham, 1st grade. The Lyells are members of Grayson United Methodist Church and Krissy was a teacher in Gwinnett County Schools before deciding to stay home with her boys. The Lyell family came to LCA two years ago and Krissy currently serves as a Barton tutor at LCA. The Lyell family is heavily involved in sports which keeps them very busy throughout the school year.

Pete Myers
Pete is Co- Owner/CFO of Georgia Hydrant Services, Inc., and was recently elected as Walton County Commissioner for District 2. His company has been involved in several projects on campus at LCA. His passion is the future of our community. He has deep roots in Loganville, as he’s lived here his entire life. He is a man of faith and family. Pete and his wife Gina have 3 children who attend LCA: Marshall (10th), McCoy (6th ) and Maggie (4th). The Myers are active members of Corinth Baptist Church where Pete currently serves on the finance committee and as the church clerk.

Brian Perdue
Brian Perdue is the President/CEO of Salon 124, Inc., and The Process Institute of Cosmetology, both located in Gwinnett County. Brian holds a degree in Business Administration from Georgia Southwestern University and is a graduate of the Capelli Institute of Cosmetology. His company has won many industry awards throughout its 20 years in business including Salon of the Year and 12 years of recognition as one of the fastest growing salon companies in the U.S. Brian has served on the Board of Trustees for the past eleven years and will be remaining on that board. Brian and his wife, Karen, have three sons, one of whom graduated from LCA. The Perdue’s are active members of Grace Fellowship New Hope.

Dale Rector
Dale is Principal of Rector, Reeder & Lofton, P.C. located in Loganville, Georgia.  He graduated from Atlanta Christian Academy in 1976, graduated from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina with a B.S. in Accounting in 1979 and further obtained a Master of Business Administration from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska. He and his wife, Donna, have two children and five grandchildren. Three of the grandchildren have been attending LCA over the last two years.

Dale has been practicing as a CPA since 1982 and has devoted his entire professional career to performing audits, providing consulting services and training across the country. As a part of community and global charity work, Dale has been on the founding Boards of Extreme Response International, Living Hope USA and Path United. Dale and Donna have been attending Journey Church in Loganville for the past five years.

Jared Snell
Jared is a fifth-generation working owner for E.R. Snell Contractor. He is currently serving as COO & Executive VP. His career has been spent leading various departments and divisions within the finance, estimating, and operations of the business. In addition to those daily responsibilities, he currently serves on various boards throughout the industry. Jared grew up in Snellville United Methodist Church and his family currently attends 12Stone. He has been married to his wife, Kellie, for 16 years. Jared and Kellie have 3 kids attending LCA; Gabrielle, 9th grade, JR, 8th grade and Willa, 3rd grade. Jared has served as a coach for various football and basketball teams at LCA.
