Loganville Christian Academy is pleased to announce the naming of Andrew Kell as athletic director for the 2019–20 school year.
Andrew is coming to LCA from Metrolina Christian Academy in Indian Trail, North Carolina, where he has served as an assistant athletic director since 2015. He became a Certified Athletic Administrator through the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrator Association in 2018. During his career, Andrew has coached middle school and high school volleyball and soccer. Andrew is a native of Snellville, Georgia, and graduated from Brookwood High School. Upon graduation, he attended Wingate University where he earned a degree in Spanish with a minor in business while playing collegiate soccer. He began his teaching career at Hickory Grove Christian School in Charlotte where he taught high school Spanish. It was at Hickory Grove where Andrew met his wife, Sara. Andrew and Sara have four boys and are actively involved in their church, Lee Park Church, where Sara serves on the worship team.
Andrew has a passion for Christian education as well as athletics. While competition and creating a winning atmosphere are important to Andrew, the ultimate goal is to change lives for Jesus Christ through the avenue of athletics. Andrew will officially join the LCA Team on June 1.
