Wow! It’s hard to believe this is my 16th year in education! I grew up in Grayson, GA, and I attended South Gwinnett High School where I met my husband, Eric. Some of my favorite years were spent at the University of Georgia, where I graduated with my B.S. Interrelated Special Education degree. Go Dawgs! Soon after, I accepted a teaching position at Grayson High School, where I was also the competition cheerleading and girls golf coach. While working at GHS, I earned both my Masters (M.S.) in Integrating Technology in the Classroom and my Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction. My LCA story began in 2012 teaching Juniors and Seniors U.S. History, Economics, and Government. After 11 years in the History Department and taking a few years off, I returned to LCA in 2022 to serve part-time as the Academic Support Coordinator for the upper school. 

I am blessed to have three wonderful children, Lawson, Brady and Eliza that all attend LCA! They keep me busy between baseball, football, basketball, golf, and dance, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
