AN UNWAVERING MISSION
Since LCA’s inception, our prayer has been that people would sense God’s presence the moment they drive onto our campus. What began in 1998 as a journey of faith has become a community where lives are changed on a daily basis. LCA’s mission to prepare students academically, spiritually, and socially for God’s call on their lives has never wavered. The mission pervades every aspect of the school and is the lens used for all decision-making.
THE VISION
Since 1998, LCA’s story has been a story of continued faithfulness and provision from the Lord. As we continue to dream and cast vision for what the future holds, we are continuing to trust in His direction. This is His school and His story. In 2020, our Board of Directors began a 2 million dollar Capital Campaign to initiate a campus improvement plan. Since then, the board has been actively raising money and has already secured 1.1 million dollars in commitments and the 2021 Annual Fund raised $331,000. As the price of labor and materials continue to rise at a rate higher than expected and the expansion of the scope of a handful of these projects, we expect the total funding required to complete these projects to exceed our 2 million dollar goal.
THE JOURNEY AHEAD
The Capital Campaign is about furthering the mission of the school by enhancing and adding to our educational classroom spaces and athletics facilities, improving our fine arts department, and increasing the level of excellence our students, faculty, staff, and families will experience each day on campus. To participate in this campaign is to participate in what the Lord is doing in the lives of the students and families the Lord calls to our campus. Building the future of our campus is investing in the lives of the future generation.
