XPLORE PROGRAM

Xplore is an after-school enrichment program that extends learning outside classroom walls.
Teachers and staff share their passions and talents through Xplore
experiences that are designed for LCA students to enjoy.

TIME: Lower School sessions are 3:00–4:15 p.m.
Upper School sessions are 3:15–4:30 p.m.

COST: 4 sessions – $65 | 8 sessions – $110 | 12 sessions – $160
(For some sessions, a materials fee will be added to session cost.)

Robotics (LS)

STEM Robotics Camp is open to 5th grade students that may have an interest or passion for robotics! This camp is for all levels of experience. During our time together students will have their hand in designing and programming a VEX robot that will follow specified tasks that support the understanding of the VEX IQ Challenge.

Introduction to Disc Golf (US)

Learn to play disc golf!

Instructor: James Schaffer (HS math teacher)
Dates: November 5–8 (M, Tu, W, Th)
Grade: 9th–12th grade
Location: Practice Football Field
Cost: $65 for 4 sessions
Class Size: Min. 5/Max. 8

What is disc golf? Etiquette and basic rules. Skills in putting and approach, midrange/fairway, and long distance driving. Learn exercises and drills to become comfortable with the game and build confidence to go out on a course and play.


Vision2Hear (Learn Sign Language to Music) (MS)

Cost: $110 for 8 sessions

This Xperience will combine sign language (specifically signed English) with contemporary Christian music. The goal will be to teach participants some basic ASL vocabulary and show them how to put it to music.

Christmas Ceramics (MS)

Students will paint and glaze a vintage, ceramic Christmas tree. They will also have the opportunity to create a Christmas Countdown.

Pride Strong Strength and Conditioning Program (MS/US)

Cost: $110 for 8 sessions

A strength and conditioning program for students and athletes who are striving to improve their overall fitness and health. Consistent training will help improve cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, coordination, and sports performance. Our mission will be to develop proper technique, confidence, and training discipline, while having FUN, in a safe and noncompetitive environment!
