Play LCA No Border No Background.png

PlayLCA is a community outreach program that provides exposure to multiple sports with an emphasis on fundamental skills in an environment that is safe, fun, and educational.

All PlayLCA programs will focus on age-appropriate skill development using a “skills over schemes” coaching strategy. Our coaches are committed to training the development of character and sportsmanship as well as their own continuous learning and networking to ensure that we are using best practices when it comes to coaching children.

We believe that sports should be fun for kids – and improvement and learning can only happen if kids stay in the game … so let’s play, LCA!!

Stay 'N' Play

Cost: $75/session

(Session 1: Sept - Nov., Session 2: Feb - Apr)

Stay ‘n’ Play runs from September through the end of April. LCA students PreK – 5th grade are encouraged to stay and play with lower school P.E. teacher, Mrs. Kellie Snell, on Wednesdays until 4pm. Physical literacy in young children is declining at an alarming rate. At Stay ‘n’ Play, kids will engage in fun and high-energy games and activity that will help to develop agility, balance, coordination, and speed.

Kellie has a bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from Kennesaw State University and she is an AFPA Certified Strength Trainer. She has more than 10 years of experience in physical education and has worked as upper school health and physical education teacher at LCA for the past 5 years. Kellie is currently the lower school P.E. teacher at LCA.
