Curriculum Selection for Hybrid Program

Our mission as a school is to prepare students academically, spiritually, and socially for God’s call on their lives. Whether a student is a part of the brick and mortar school or the new hybrid school, the mission is the same. Our heart’s desire is to impact students’ lives for Christ through the avenue of education, helping them to develop a biblical worldview. We strive to help our students think critically and deeply and not just to memorize content we believe is important. Our goal is to build grit and perseverance in our students when it becomes difficult or when they face failure. We aim to provide opportunities for students to work collaboratively. This is all accomplished through qualified teachers who are dedicated to the mission and through wise choices of the resources we use to meet standards.

Our curriculum is written based on standards that meet or exceed the state recommendations. Resources are chosen with that in mind. For the hybrid school, we used the same standards we have for the brick and mortar school. Some of the resources are the same where others are different. For Hybrid, we will be utilizing Saxon Math, Wilson Phonics, Prima Latina for Latin, and a few other reputable resources. Not every resource is from a Christian perspective, but all of what is taught is done so through the lens of Scripture.

Our teachers are not only qualified to teach, but they have an authentic walk with Christ. They proactively build a safe and nurturing environment where students are free to learn and grow.

We look forward to partnering with you in our new hybrid program. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Lower School Principal Amy McCaulley.
