LOWER SCHOOL STUDENT LIFE

A vital part of LCA’s education extends beyond the classroom, to the activities and events that assist the student in discovering his/her talents and passions.  Students are given opportunities, whether it is while visiting with friends in the hallways and around campus, participating in athletic events as a team member or a fan, participating in a fine arts performance or worshiping together, to collaborate while developing their own strengths.

Our vibrant spiritual life programs promote the development of the biblical worldview as it impacts lifestyles, decision making, personal integrity and social responsibility. Upper school students begin the year with Alpha Camp, on off campus retreat and continue with chapel programs, Breakaway, a spiritual emphasis day and foreign mission trips. Lower school students enjoy their chapel programs, Kidstuf and Gear Up. Evidenced by the thousands of community service hours our students donate each year, LCA creates opportunities for students to carry out a practical application of sharing God's love.

While the academic coursework is rigorous, we believe that this environment, where the education extends beyond the classroom, creates a balanced education.
